Custom Designed Albums

Duncan only uses the Italian Graphistudio books which combine the uniqueness of handmade binding with the most advanced digital technology. They are available in a number of different sizes and come with a wide range of front covers and page finishes for you to choose from.

Instead of traditional wedding albums where photographic prints are stuck behind pre-formatted layouts, Graphistudio’s printing and binding technique allows the full potential of the images to be realised, for example, full double page panoramic printing with no cracks or seams down the middle. Instead, a subtle fold allows the pages in the book to be laid flat. This enables far more flexibility within the design of your album. Images can be overlaid on top of each other with special effects added, such as tinting. They can also, for example, be overlaid onto a background image that is more subdued. The possibilities are endless and this is where the artistic skill of the photographer continues. The only limitation is imagination.

Duncan designs each album individually after having a chat with yourselves (once you have seen the online preview of all the images shot) to see if you have any specific requests. Usually couples are happy to simply let him produce a design based on his expertise and experience. You will then be sent an electronic proof of the exact layout of the album, and the chance to make any tweaks and changes, before the layout is transmitted to Italy for final production of the album.

Parent & Pocket Books

An additional fantastic feature of the Graphistudio system is the ability to have smaller copies of the main album. These are quite literally exact copies of the main album but in a choice of several smaller sizes. These are perfect for parents and family to have as a record of the whole day, not just a selected few images like some other parent books.

The smaller versions could even be used as a fantastic thank you gift to your bridesmaids, best man and special family members or guests.
